Nicholas Jakobe is a shareholder with Erstad & Riemer, P.A. He began working with Erstad & Riemer, P.A. as a law clerk and joined the practice in 2007. Nick is admitted to practice in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota.

Mr. Jakobe received his B.S. degree in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management. Prior to attending law school, he was employed in the management of personnel and insurance at various manufacturing facilities. Mr. Jakobe earned his J.D., cum laude, from William Mitchell College of Law in 2007.

Mr. Jakobe practices primarily in civil litigation. While much of his practice is devoted to defense of complex multi-party construction defect and product liability claims, he also has significant experience in insurance coverage disputes, automobile liability, dram shop, and subrogation claims.

Nick and his wife Kari live in Edina, Minnesota with their two sons, Michael and Ben. In his free time, Nick is an avid supporter of University of Minnesota athletics and enjoys spending time with his family.
